Color me unsurprised. Read more 🤑 Another day, another settlement: Former Tesla directors, including Larry Ellison, Kimbal Musk, and James Murdoch, have to return nearly $1 billion to the company for "overpaying" themselves. Oops. Read more 🙈 Yeah, that's not good: Yesterday we reported that edtech software giant PowerSchool had been hacked; now we know more. The company said hackers accessed customer information, including Social Security numbers and medical information. It's the second employee wage lawsuit against the company in the last month. Read more 🦙 Zuck says "OK": Meta's Mark Zuckerberg allegedly gave the team behind Meta's Llama AI models the green light to train the models off of pirated e-books and articles, according to newly unredacted documents in a copyright lawsuit. Read more 🚘 Scout's honor: TechCrunch caught up with Scout Motors CEO Scott Keogh at CES this week. Keogh shared why he thinks modern cars are "dystopian" and "disconnected" and how they plan to land customers beyond their target audience, among other things. Read more 🤝 One hub for all: Innovaccer is a startup looking to break down the data silos in healthcare to unify patient data into one hub. The company works with six of the top 10 U.S. healthcare systems and just raised $275 million. Read more 🛑 Beware: Software giant Ivanti is warning its customers about a zero-day vulnerability in its enterprise VPN appliance. This is just the latest security hit for Invanti, which announced it would overhaul its security processes last year after hackers targeted vulnerabilities in several applications.
