Magic Leap One AR headset for devs costs more than 2x the iPhone X Magic Leap will finally be shipping its first piece of hardware this summer, and it just revealed the price tag: $2,295. To be clear, the Magic Leap One "creator edition" isn't meant to be a mass market device, but rather something that developers can use to create content. Still, it's a lot of money — and if you want the "Pro" edition, that'll cost you $495 more. 2. Snapchat shrinks by 3M users to 188M despite strong Q2 Though Snapchat managed to increase revenue and cut its losses, yesterday's earning report was a rough one for the company, with its first ever decline in user count. 3. Slack is raising $400M+ with a post-money valuation of $7B or more We've learned that Slack is raising another round, with a post-money valuation of at least $7 billion — adding a whopping $2 billion on top of the company's last valuation. 4.
